We are jumping for joy that our Youth Forum project has been selected as one of the selected Co-op Local Community Fund project this year. We would like to engage with the youth of Sandbach to give them a voice in what happens, what activities they would like to be available and provide them with the opportunity to design and run their own event. Please select us on you membership causes page. https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/59633

We recently became aware that people were finding the decline in the appearance of the cemetery distressing when visiting their loved ones. Being the forward thinking, proactive community organisation we are, we decided we should initiate the re-creation of the Friends of Sandbach Cemetery (FOSC) to work with Orbitas and ANSA to bring the cemetery back to it’s former glory and maybe one day, apply for the green flag status again. If you can spare 2-3 hours a month, enjoy

Sandbach has a wealth of vounteers that make our Town what it is today!. This week we get the opportunity, through volunteers week, to officially say a massive thank you for the amazing work our many local groups and residents do. From the friends of our local Parks, woodland & wildlife and walking groups , to the clean team and right though to our local well being and support groups like Grass Root Disability and Dementia

As part of our commitment to support residents and businesses we have got together with 2 of our forum members, with a view to helping people who may be suffering from anxiety due to shielding. We hope the results can be used to plan what could be their first visit into town in a long time. We are also seizing the opportunity to ask businesses about future opportunities relating to Dementia Friendly Sandbach and Grass Roots Disability.

In my role as Chairman of Sandbach Partnership for the last 19 years, I am proud of what I have achieved, no one person alone can do these things on their own, so my thanks go to everyone who played a part in helping us to become a successful partnership, we also helped other towns in developing partnerships, Holmes Chapel, Wilmslow and Poynton. I am particularly proud of all the local groups we have helped and worked with, the many events

Please note the Partnership is under new management. We will endeavour to update progress here as soon as we can. Please note we are a part-time voluntary organisation, and the office is only manned one day a week due to COVID.
