Sandbach Partnership have played a key role in supporting Grass Roots Disability Sandbach as they complete another phase of the ‘Drop Kerb’ project in Sandbach town centre.
Grass Roots Disability Sandbach continues to progress since being set up in September 2015. The group was started by Craig Bayley (chairman) a local disabled resident with the help and guidance of Dot Flint (Chair of Sandbach Partnership).
Over the last few weeks we have seen the completion of the 2nd phase of our project to introduce more Dropped Curbs into the town. The group have again been assisted by Cheshire east Highways office’s Simon Wallace and Chris Hodgson, which without their help the project could not have got off the ground.
Grass Roots would also like to give special thanks to Councillor Barry Moran. He has worked very hard on this project from the start, his knowledge has proved invaluable in sourcing funding.
Grass Roots would also like to thank Dot Flint (Sandbach Partnership) and Councillor Mike Benson for their continued support.
