Sandbach has a wealth of vounteers that make our Town what it is today!. This week we get the opportunity, through volunteers week, to officially say a massive thank you for the amazing work our many local groups and residents do.
From the friends of our local Parks, woodland & wildlife and walking groups , to the clean team and right though to our local well being and support groups like Grass Root Disability and Dementia Friendly Sandbach.
COVID 19 has also brought out the best in some people and we have seen increase in the number of volunteers. From making a telephone call to someone in isolation becuase of an underlying health condition to check on them, picking up a prescription or just doing your neighbours shopping if they had to isolate due to a member of the family testing positive!
We are very fortunate to have you all and we celebrate and thank you!
